Lambing is in full swing now! The headcount is now over 20.

Our first lambs, born only a few days ago are starting to look strong, playful and confident. They're willing to stray farther and farther from their moms, and leap and twirl and play.

We had our first set of triplets born, and their mom is taking good care of all three, which is a lucky thing. With triplets, a ewe often will focus on two lambs to care for and feed well, and the third might be fed less, or fully abandoned. This ewe seems to be producing enough milk for all three. :)
